    I’m in Australia and have recently been doing our family tree and learned that my Grandfathers parents were Jewish. There are several Rabbi’s in our family going back through the generations and I had no idea. I didn’t know that “Benjamin’ Is a Jewish family surname… I know that sounds really bad -but if something is never talked about and we only saw our Grandfather and his second wife once a year at Christmas-you wouldn’t necessarily know. He wasn’t a practicing Jew, and I have no idea (yet) if he was brought up in a Jewish household or not.

    God made everything perfectly in 6 days, and didn't need to create or plan on the 7th day, but he didn't need to nap or rest as we humans know it. God created all things, but he doesn't want us to neglect the living things on the Sabbath. If any living thing that you care for (including yourself) requires aid on the Sabbath, then likely God wants you to give that aid. The Sabbath is a day of rest and also worship, but to get to the temple often one must do some walking, some may claim that is work, but obviously God permits that.

    Hi, we have started following the old laws. Feast days and sabbaths. Question i have is what does the two loaf of bread and wine symbolize in die anchient Hebrew teachings?

    • @happypiano4810
      @happypiano4810 2 місяці тому

      1. Not certain what you mean by old laws, but ok. 2. Two loaves of bread is representative of a double portion of manna. 3. Wine is a festive drink. Theoretically it can be any “drink of distinction”, including grape juice or even milk, but if you have wine, it’s preferable.
